Out now: Our new Investor’s Guide to Systemic Investing

Switching mindsets, changing systems: Announcing the ‘Investor’s Guide to Systemic Investing’!

Systemic investing takes impact investing literally into a new dimension. Instead of working with linear “point” solutions, it builds on the understanding that all investments exist within complex systems of which our actions can be a part. How can investors and their advisors integrate this mindset and the emerging toolkit that comes with it? We outline four key insights, introduce practical case studies, and clarify your next steps in our latest Investor’s Guide.

To realize this groundbreaking document, we worked closely with key organizations at the forefront of this practice: MIT Sloan, TransCap Initiative, TWIST, and The ImPact, with support from RS Group and Katapult Foundation. They’re also all involved in our one-of-a-kind training on the topic: Investing for Systems Change, taking place May 21–23 in Zurich.

The full report is now available here.

CSP’s Falko and Francesca co-author CFA UK Training Manual Chapter

We’re literally (co-)writing the book on impact! CSP’s Falko and Francesca co-authored the chapter on impact investing strategies and the regulatory landscape as part of the forthcoming Official Training Manual for the Certificate in Impact Investing offered by the CFA Society of the UK. This text will be a key resource for financial professionals seeking that certification.

Experiment locally, innovate globally: The benefits of experimental CSR

Companies can make their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts more impactful when they allow employees to adapt CSR policies to local contexts. That’s the key insight from CSP Collaborator Emilio Marti and co-authors Andromachi Athanasopoulou, David Risi and Eva Schlindwein. Their new brief, which builds on research published in the Journal of Management Studies and Harvard Business Review, breaks down how an experimental approach to CSR can boost its effectiveness.

Book Discussion with Falko and author Felix Oldenburg in Zurich

Many of us live in wealthy societies, yet somehow there is a lack of funding for collective problems that only become more expensive over time. On April 11, Falko will participate in a discussion with author Felix Oldenburg and journalist Janina Breitling about Felix’s book “Der gefesselte Wohlstand” (EN: Shackled Prosperity) and how understandings of private wealth and philanthropic giving might change to meet this moment. The event is free and will take place in German. Registration is required.

Share your passion, amplify impact: Become a CSP Ambassador!

CSP Program Alumni and Collaborators have long been amplifiers of our work, telling colleagues and connections about what CSP does and why impact matters. Especially for our intimate wealth holder
trainings, we rely heavily on such peer-to-peer recommendations to make sure our programs find the right participants.

Now you, too, could become part of this passionate and motivated network. For each (non-alum) course participant you bring in we have an incentive for you. Learn more about our Ambassador program.
