One of the things that’s keeping us feeling light and energized? The official continuation of our Investor’s Guide series, starting with our latest report: the Investor’s Guide to B Corp certification in investment organizations. Following the resounding success of our Investor’s Guide to Impact, first published in 2020, the series will continue to bring topical, research-backed insights to wealth holders and decision-makers across sustainable finance, impact investing, and wealth management. Launching our new report series with the Investor’s Guide to B Corp
What a great new chapter in the story of our Investor’s Guides! We celebrated the continuation of this series of practical, science-informed guides to key concepts and emerging trends in sustainable finance and impact investing with a report launch in Zurich on May 16th. The first topic we tackled? B Corp certification for investment organizations.
Interest in B Corps has been growing among investors, and in this report we looked closer at what that means, finding for instance that almost 30% of the B Corp certified investment firms interviewed in our sample could be classified as “transformative” organizations, promoting broader transformational change in finance.
At the launch event, we heard from a number of expert speakers, including CEO of B Lab Switzerland Jonathan Normand, and representatives from three B Corp-certified financial institutions: Globalance Bank, VP Capital, and Lightrock.

Training Highlights
A warm welcome to IING Cohort 9!
The 9th edition of our flagship program, Impact Investing for the Next Generation (IING), concluded in Zurich in April. A fun-filled and learning-packed Alumni Weekend offered this latest group of impact-driven wealth holders a warm welcome into our alumni community, complete with deep dives, doughnuts (the economic variety, thanks to input from DEAL), plus dinner and dancing–in a Swiss mountain cave! Supporting forward-thinking family offices in their impact journeys
Last week, we welcomed a group of 17 principals and senior family office staff to Zurich to take their next steps toward positive change. Together with impact leaders VP Capital and many special guests with first-hand experience, we took a deep dive into how family offices implement impact operationally in their processes. Participants of our Learning from Leading Impact Family Offices training program were able to gain new perspectives and lay meaningful foundations for purposeful action.

While the former is exclusively for those involved with family offices, and the latter is a dedicated space for next generation wealth holders, our Sustainable Investing Masterclass is open to everyone and offers a solid introduction to the fundamentals. The next edition will run on three afternoons between May 29th and June 12th in person in Zurich.
